Larghetto is one of four tapestries commissioned in 1972 by architect Irevor Garwood-Jones to hang in Hamilton Place, Hamilton. They are named ‘Allegro,’ ‘Vivace,’ ‘Grave’ and ‘Larghetto’ after four major symphonic movements. They not only enhance the foiyer of the building, but also act as acoustic banners.
